The Supply Chain Manager is the responsible Supply Chain point of contact for the Lighting Value Stream. The Manager will coordinate between the Value Stream Leader and internal Supply Chain sub-functions to meet program milestones, successfully transition product to the factory, support on-time delivery of high-quality products, and achieve cost and sales targets. The Supply Chain Manager is the responsible Supply Chain point of contact throughout the product life cycle in Lighting. This position provides inputs to business plans & proposals, projections and program management initiatives, establishes robust control and reporting systems, liaises with all facets of Supply Chain and multiple other functional groups such as engineering, business development, and finance. Primary Responsibilities: + Establish key elements of strategic and tactical plans. + Ensure alignment with the customer program objectives. + Coordinate across Supply Chain sub-functions to deliver to end customer needs + Primary point of contact to the Value Stream Leader in Supply Chain discussions + Establishes robust control and reporting systems to monitor progress against plans and business metrics. + Formulate and drive plans, root cause and corrective actions, recovery plans + Support Business Development pursuits, ensuring we have pricing coverage and supply available (supplier capacity & proactive measures, raw material, etc.) + Supporting gate reviews, ensuring actions are taken to correct Supply Chain members and following up on closure, identifying risks, etc. + Manage key Customers to Suppliers across various Product Lines on kits, NPI (new product introduction) and retrofit programs. + Supporting customer units through the repair process + Understand contractual requirements from Customers to Suppliers + Ensuring customer requirements are flowed down to Supplier purchase orders + Support external communications to assigned commercial and military customers + Effectively support Aftermarket business, to maintain and exceed customer service levels and mitigate turnaround time penalties + Create weekly and ad hoc status reports + Respond to internal and external customer inquiries such as status updates, capability requests, and price justification Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR + Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR + In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required + Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
