If you possess a strong financial aptitude and robust analytical skills and passionate about being detail oriented, apply to join the Derivative Accounting team within Freddie Mac's Investment and Capital Market Segment Controller group as a Financial Controller Professional. You will be responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial close execution and financial result analysis for derivative and hedging transactions. Responsibilities include: Prepare journal entries for GAAP and segment purpose. Prepare reconciliation and monthly data validation for derivative and hedge accounting. Help managing risks, controls, Internal Audits and other ad hoc requests Analyze the financial impact on derivative/hedge accounting from interest rate changes Work with IT and change management team to resolve data issue as well as system enhancement Prepare and support disclosures for external reporting eg 10K/10Q & FHFA. Bachelor s degree required.
