My client is a well-known International Manufacturing Company based in the San Francisco Bay area. This is a Direct Hire position. They are searching for a Manager - Network Operations. This newly created position will be held accountable for the network-, systems-, cyber- security not only for today's needs, but to foresee and build this department for the future of security in the years to come.   • Master's degree preferred in a computer science discipline, required.
  • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, or equivalent, required.
  • Cisco CCNA required.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows O/S (Windows 10 & server 2012 R2+), Office 365, Cisco Switches/Routers, Palo Alto/Juniper Firewall, VMWare ESX, and TCP/IP software protocols.
  • Experience supporting of PBX voice systems, ShoreTel/Mitel preferred.
  • Experience with SQL server administration and support preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in network, server and telecommunications operations including: system administration, installation, relocation and configuration support, security, problem determination and performance monitoring.
  • Minimum of 3 years' direct experience working with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2012: design, administration and implementation.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-site Manufacturing background
  • Take ownership for actions, behaviors and contributions while inspiring and motivating self and others.
  • Strong ability to inspire and motivate self and others.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience managing a Network Operations team
  • Have a strong understanding and passion around Cybersecurity and Business Continuity planning.
  • Manage engineers working within our data center networking teams to build, scale, deploy and support our global network infrastructure
  • Responsible for people management of a team of engineers, providing performance reviews, continual feedback, coaching and career growth for direct reports
  • Help define, and drive regular development of an aggressive technical roadmap to meet the needs of the team, and partner teams
  • Be a hands-on manager with deep technical experience in networking, systems, hardware and software
  • Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapt quickly to new information, re-prioritize as needed
  • Manage engineers to strengths, enable, unblock, and grow talent through coaching and technical mentoring
  • Pro-actively identify resource needs, participate in recruiting efforts, and hiring to grow the team
  • Identify, cultivate and grow technical leader
