Brand Manager US Marketing - Games

Function/Purpose:

Hasbro's US Marketing Team has an immediate need for a passionate, results-oriented, innovative marketer to lead key initiatives and strategic execution of marketing plans for our Gaming portfolio. In this role, you will:

  • Develop overall P&L, including making recommendations on pricing and marketing spend, for assigned brand(s) based on brand revenue and profit goals
  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing team to develop annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive revenue growth
  • Drive executional excellence by prioritizing day-to-day demands, in addition to larger projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding expectations
  • Analyze point-of-sale data to understand the trends of the business and provide sound rationale for shipment forecasts
  • Partner with the Customer Marketing and Sales teams in the development of annual trade/promotional opportunities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of the Director and senior team, you will:

  • Develop U.S. strategic business plans to achieve brand financial goals, including pricing recommendations and shipment forecasting, and manage a marketing spend budget across segments
  • Responsible for growing brand revenue and profitability by item/segment to drive portfolio growth
  • Create, execute and manage fully integrated U.S. Marketing brand plans, including consumer communications strategy, omni-channel media plan, consumer promotions and retail strategy
  • Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build plan
  • Develop and manage media plans and spending by brand, considering product performance and inventory levels
  • Plan and direct implementation of all trade and account-specific promotional programs to achieve business goals
  • Analyze and track POS performance and competitive activity to drive decision-making and identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with U.S. Sales Organization to drive brands at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations
  • Provide strategic direction to Global Brand Team on product line, financials and marketing toolkit assets
  • Provide timely, consistent and accurate communication of brand activity and key information to internal and external partners

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive brand/strategy experience in forward thinking consumer-focused organization
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.

Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:

  • Proven ability to transform a strategy and vision into actionable plans in a rapidly-changing organization
  • Expertise at executing a fully integrated marketing plan with excellence
  • Compelling communication skills to collaborate and influence effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to seamlessly adapt to changing environment
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationship across the organization
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
