TITLE: Supplier Education Specialist

Job Overview:

The Supplier Education Specialist is a key position in the supplier enablement process, critical in creating a positive first impression of Ariba in the eyes of suppliers.

The Supplier Education Specialist is responsible for optimizing the supplier communications across all customers. The main duties include:

  • Preparing and delivering a comprehensive communication plan
  • Customizing and tailoring focused communications for specific project objectives and goals
  • Preparing and delivering web-based presentations to large groups of suppliers
  • Coaching customers and internal resources to ensure that their focus on supplier communications is optimized, including setting expectations on participation in communication plan development and execution
  • Supporting the development of new communication approaches and methods to continually improve supplier onboarding results, program adoption, and productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management and execution of supplier-facing presentations
    • Briefing customers and preparing them for Supplier Summits
    • Collaborating with project teams to ensure that Summit approach is in line with broader strategy
    • Preparing presentation materials
    • Coordinating and delivering presentations to suppliers
    • Conducting de-briefs after presentations to improve future events
    • Ongoing initiatives to improve impact of Supplier Summits
  • Supporting additional one-to-many supplier outreach
    • Coordinating email campaigns
    • Preparing supplier facing videos
    • Applying instructional design principles to all communication materials
    • Facilitating recordings
    • Investigating new approaches to deliver optimum supplier communication
  • Advising project teams on best approach for supplier communication

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Advanced verbal and written communication in English Language, additional language skills/fluency a plus, especially French, German, and/or Spanish
  • Advanced presentation skills - delivering face-to-face and virtual presentations
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and customer/project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software (intermediate level required for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word specifically)
  • Experience with webinar delivery platforms is a plus (ie On24, Adobe Connect)
  • Consultative and creative approach to guiding customers and internal resources on seller communication strategy
  • Instructional Design/Adult Learning knowledge or experience is preferred
