Job Description

CACI NSS has an immediate opportunity for a Configurations Management Analyst at Fort Bragg in support to our client at Fort Bragg.

Functional Responsibility:
Accomplishes change management objectives by planning and evaluating customer requirements to include:
  • Supervises employees, typically junior or mid-level
  • Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders
  • Influence others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures
  • Plans/establishes OR works to achieve goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate- or short-term operational results of the department (e. g., less than 1 year).
  • Typically, does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e. g., timecards, overtime for staff)
  • Responsible for making improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the job area or maybe be responsible for developing technical solutions that require collaboration with internal expertise and deep analysis of the technical system
Specific Responsibility:
Update and record all changes made to software and equipment associated with USASOC networks to include:
  • Documenting and reviewing CM findings and then coordinating corrective action
  • Evaluating baseline deviations and making recommendations for rectifying them
  • Creates necessary sub-tasks on each Change Request, coordinates and routes CRs to operational and functional areas within the Distributed Computing tower of the SITEC contract.
  • Tracking Supplier Requests for Engineering Approval (SREAs), Non-Conforming Material Reports(NCMRs), End of Life (EOL), CM Data Warehousing (DW), and Requests for Variation (RFVs) by configuration
  • Conducting Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meetings
  • Reviewing and implementing CM plans, baselines, and milestones
Desired Skillset:
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Military experience a plus need a good working knowledge of Military acronyms and command structure.
Preferred Education: BS in related field.
Experience: 3+ years
Security Clearance: Secret (will consider an interim Secret)
Certification Required: ITILv3 Fundamentals required within 60 days of hire
