The Hotel Revenue Manager will lead and execute of revenue management initiatives through project management of cross-functional groups to best maximize inventory and profitability for assigned portfolio. The Hotel Revenue Manager will provide direction to guide property leadership through comprehensive reporting and analysis of rate and inventory.

  • Work closely with branded and independent hotel revenue management teams and resources to maximize hotel potential revenue. Direct, analyze and support systems and reports to ensure occupancy and rate are pushed for maximum return.
  • Lead and champion the development and implementation of a comprehensive revenue management systems. Develop tools, reports and analytics to create revenue management roadmap.
  • Utilization of reservation and sales reporting tools to identify trends and analysis of property booking metrics
  • Regularly meet with property stakeholders to present clear understanding of trends and results through report analysis and tools
  • Set controls and thresholds based property revenue goals and objectives
  • Regularly adjust or edit pricing strategy for property
  • Supports team to solve problems, educates, mentors and coaches staff for training and development of skills
  • Provide strategic and tactical initiatives to maximize revenue by working cohesively with cross-functional teams.
  • Daily, Weekly, Month and comparative reports for pace reports, occupancy reports, site and inventory analysis
  • Regular revenue forecasting
  • Provides competitive and demand analysis
  • Provides strategic direction and implementation for OTA and other related resources including contract negotiation, implementation and tactical support
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Provides regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of Revenue Management in hospitality or related industry
  • Experience in multi-property support
  • Associates or Bachelors in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Branded Hotel Experience, preferably in a revenue management or revenue management supported role is preferred

Success Factors:

  • Advance knowledge of Excel, Access or other database and reporting tools
  • Strong project management ability
  • Independent self starter
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions utilizing data and reporting to support plan
  • Effectively communicates to a variety of audiences
  • Must be resourceful and self motivated to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments

Physical Demands:

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Travel 10-20%
