This important position is responsible for assisting callers on existing loan information and referring customers calling on new loans to Loan Originators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Provides loan customers first touch information on their escrow analysis, hazard insurance, insurance claims and cancelling PMI.

2. Resolves servicing problems partnering to payments being set up or payments made by accessing account and product information from computer or working with loan service associates. Provides follow up with customers.

3. Answer emails that are sent to the loan service general email and follow up on emails.

4. Provide a Loan Originator contact for any new loan customer calling in.

5. Provide direction on first touch experience for borrows who are expressing difficulty in making their loan payments.

6. Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise

1. Experience in customer service is required.

2. Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.

3. Experience with lending laws, regulations, and guidelines are preferred.

4. Experience with LOS software Core Trac CRM system is preferred.

5. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Encompass, Cleartouch, OnBase, various government and investor software/web portals is preferred.

Education and Experience

1.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.

2.Certification: None.

3.Years of experience: 3 to 5 years is required.

4.Years of experience supervising: None.

Physical Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear and speak.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
  • This position is performed in an office setting, able to work weekdays with typical work hours being 8:30a through 5:15p and Saturday hours.
