General Description

The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for the content, accuracy and production of all Lids field visual merchandising communication, print, signage, and in-store audio-visual marketing; ensuring all communication content is accurate and high quality. This position will work closely with key internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Store Operations as well as third party print and digital (audio-visual) vendors, to collect information, and interpret the information into easy to follow direction for the store field teams. Additionally, this role is the main point of contact for new store openings, and will send grand opening full store visual merchandising direction.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of print for all instore marketing materials and manage through in-store on-time delivery.
• Coordinate & maintain distribution lists for fixtures; signage packages; new, remodel, and closed stores; store formats.
• Create purchase orders for print and maintain accurate and timely invoice tracking.
• Manage all aspects of in-store print and audio-visual needs.
• Develop systems of execution that help the stores implement standards with minimum payroll expense.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure business strategies and objectives are clearly communicated within all visual communication tools.
• Manage weekly floor set overviews. Includes: seeking out content, synthesizing buys into merchandising plans, creating mockups and communicating to the field via Intranet uploads.
• Generate new ideas and evolve current visual communication tools to be more effective and on pace with business changes.
• Collaborate with key partners to develop compelling visual merchandising presentations that engage consumers and drive business growth
• Assist with projects upon requests, such as fixture sourcing, printer sourcing, pop-up shop plan developments, etc.
• Handle field requests for signs and fixtures in a timely manner.

Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact with Store Operations to ensure store communication is on-time, accurate and effective.
• Support/develop store presentation strategies to drive brand and annual business objectives.
• Develop visual merchandising plans for in-store and pop-up shops as needed for hot market (a.k.a. post-season) opportunities.
• Travel less than 15% as needed, to assist in implementation of visual merchandising floor sets, hot market, or other events.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Visual Merchandising or related field
• 2+ years Visual Merchandise experience
• Excellent communicator with experience in direction-based communication
• Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects, meeting all timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative thinker
• Team player
