SUMMARY

The Consulting Engineer II is responsible for leveraging their system integration expertise and their materials and data management knowledge, to help our customers solve complex material data management problems with ANSYS software products

RESPONSIBILITIES
Engaging with customers to understand their material information management requirements
Writing the Statement of Work that clearly captures the customers intent within the context of a Project Plan
Execute against the Statement of Work/Project Plan while adhering to good Project Management practices
Communicate with stakeholders concerning project progress, providing clear, accurate & timely information
Coordinate with other ANSYS departments and disciplines, as needed, to ensure that the appropriate rate progress is maintained

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BS in an engineering, material science or other related discipline
3 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role at ANSYS or in a similar organization's consulting services or related customer-facing activities
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Thorough understanding of one or more of Enterprise Databases, and/or Materials Data Management
Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers
Experience of development of short scripts in programming languages such as Python, VBA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with managing or maintaining PLM software
Available for travel (up to 50%)
