This BI (Business Intelligence) and Systems Manager role is a key position to Micron CPG (Consumer Products Group) world-wide sales organization. As the Manager you will directly engage our Sales Teams, IS and IT Teams, Sales Operations and Finance; providing a variety of sales and support activities. This role requires cross functional coordination, outstanding communication skills, creative problem solving and a highly organized, process-focused aptitude to manage a variety of responsibilities and deliverables. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your passion for technology and business process excellence.

Specifically you will administer existing tools and systems that include cloud based applications like Quick Base and Sales Force dot com. You will be expected to support and develop new functionality within these tools. In conjunction with Sales and customer facing systems, you will be expected to understand and integrate support and development efforts with our ERP system SAP as well as revenue management tool Model N.

A strong understand of Finance, Accounting and Revenue Management principles will be critical as this role supports the sale, discounting, customer program and AR functions.


  • Architect, design and prototype solutions to support business strategies and deliver business value
  • Communicate with users to ensure BI deliverables are providing business value
  • Work with end users and IT teams to resolve operational issues and mitigate risk
  • Help business users leverage the appropriate BI techniques and tools
  • Work with project teams to document business requirement definitions, including business opportunity, vision of solution and expected benefits
  • Review project success criteria ensuring deliverable and stakeholder alignment
  • Build relationships with business areas, understand their commitments, establish trust and dialogue on how to support those commitments
  • Work with the Business area subject matter experts to learn the data and understand how it is used by various areas supporting business process
  • Independently lead and successfully deliver project engagements through build, test and solutions deployment
  • Implement third party solutions by working with vendors and determine how to integrate solutions into the current business environment


  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Candidates should possess excellent problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Experience in designing/developing web services/Rest API to interface with other systems
  • Experience with enterprise integration and ETL tools
  • Experience deploying web based and enterprise systems using industry standard environments including XML, SQL, HTML, FTP, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Agile; Data Warehousing; Microsoft BI Suite; Tableau; SAP/BW/Business Objects Data Modeling; Data flow mapping; Source to target mapping; Requirements gathering and data analysis; Testing & data validation techniques
  • High aptitude to learn the business processes in a new domain
  • Preferred experience in SFDC and Quick Base development
  • Minimum of 6 years' work experience in Business Intelligence
  • A passion for data and information
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, work environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in building strong teams
