The Information Security Engineer is a highly-motivated individual that has a passion for Information Security and protecting company assets. This colleague will work with Tivity Health's Information Security Officer to implement technical security controls, perform security operation reviews, assist with security assessments, and help implement corporate security projects. This colleague will learn about the Tivity Health business and will need to have the ability to adapt to quickly changing environments. This position is based at the Tivity Health Office in Chandler AZ and reports directly to Tivity Health's Information Security Officer.

1. Administer, monitor, and perform security operations tasks around Tivity Health's technical security solutions [eg, firewalls, anti-malware, logging/monitoring systems (SIEM), data loss prevention (DLP) solutions, etc.].

2. Review information security-related events from multiple sources and work with other team members to respond appropriately.

3. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly security operations tasks.

4. Conduct and/or oversee information security technical assessments (eg, vulnerability scans, application code reviews, third party penetration tests, etc.), evaluate findings, document results and report to management, and provide recommendations for remediation.

5. Provide initial triage of reported information security incidents and work together with other incident response team members and IT outsourced partners to provide rapid response to security threats.

6. Conduct incident investigations utilizing forensic toolsets.

7. Evaluate enterprise risks and coordinate with other teams for risk mitigation.

8. Participate in evidence collection for audits and assist in company audits/assessments such as ISO 27001, SOX, SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST, etc..

9. Assist with vendor and product/solution security assessments; Maintain tracking of information security corrective actions and exceptions;

10. Provide security metrics that can be used by various groups and teams including senior management.

11. Write and contribute to the creation and maintenance of information security-related documentation (eg, policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, etc.) as required, and maintain Tivity Health's Security Wiki and SharePoint sites.

12. Develop and maintain ongoing service relationships between Information Security and third party representatives;

13. Lead and/or assist in implementation of Tivity Health Information Security projects as directed.

14. Provide change management consultative support.

15. Provide technical guidance and training where necessary/appropriate to IT staff.

16. Create and maintain relationships with various teams (eg, programmers, auditors, IT support, management, etc.) to facilitate implementation and maintenance of information security controls and processes across the enterprise.

. Degree in a related field of study such as Information Security, Computer Science, or MIS/CIS, or additional experience in the field;

. Have an understanding of principles in network technology, incident response, data loss prevention, security architecture, cloud security, virtualization, and information security policy;

. Understanding of web application security risks such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF and other risks covered in frameworks such as OWASP;

. Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and articulating security issues to technical and non-technical audience is a plus;

. Hands-on experience with information security tools such as vulnerability scanners, exploit frameworks, and web application testing tools;

. Have the ability to learn technologies and platforms quickly;

. Experience as a network, server, database, or application administrator (preferred);

. Experience managing security infrastructure such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM and VPN (preferred);

. Requires excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the strong ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts;

. Experience with writing security and IT-related documentation (eg, white papers, procedures, technical specs, etc.), training peers, and presenting information to peers and leadership as required;

. Ability to work independently and complete projects in coordination with other team members;

. Holds/maintains information security-related certification(s) (preferred).
