Role Value Proposition:

Our Regional Application Development group (RAD US) is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Image and Workflow team. Resource will interact with BSA//project leads/architects to design, implement, and test solutions that align with defined business requirements in the Enterprise Content Management/Image & Workflow domains. Resource will work in a fast-paced environment and be extended the opportunity to lead the delivery of solutions from inception through post-deployment, working with resources from architecture, test, and operational teams throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions
  • Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary
  • Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
  • Monitors operating efficiency of existing applications.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing for large scale system.
  • Maintains records to document program development/design and revisions.
  • Provides technical support to technical vendor resources and support organizations.
  • Designs business process models, as necessary.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience programming in J2EE, Java, JSP, SOAP/REST Web Services, JavaScript, HTML/5 and XML.
  • 2+ years of experience using tools like Cornerstone, Urban Code, Bitbucket, Maven, Bamboo, & JIRA
  • Ability to lead development projects and set technical guidance/direction for solutions.
  • Excellent team-work & communication skills

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL on relational databases including MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and IBM UDB
  • Familiarity with Content Management concepts.
  • Experience working for Fortune 500 company
  • Advanced Degree (MS, MBA) and/or relevant certifications
