Provides reliable and secure technical operation of maintenance and security of all the ACS Windows Servers and ensure that the Data Center environment is reliably backed according to schedule or SLC. Serve as a point of reference for other engineers and team members.
Support development effort in review of system hardware; software and system design to assure system requirements are met.
Participate in all system/subsystem hardware and software integration and acceptance testing
Part of the team that sets policy; monitors; prioritizes; and develops standards; as well as maintains service levels; for the production environment
Must design; deploy; maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure for multiple production environments
Proactively suggest alternative solutions and designs; 3rd party tools; etc. to solve the problems at hand
As a member of the team will respond to all system problems on a 7X24 basis and take part in on-call rotation
Lead and participate in the writing of system; test and test reporting documentation to assure that design and test results meet customer requirements
Implement and maintain SCOM monitoring and alerting
Administration of malware and antivirus applications
Ensure mission critical Servers are available and operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
Administrator Servers and implement hardware and software upgrades
Run production jobs as scheduled. Monitor all server activity for problems; diagnose and resolve problems according to procedure. Escalate problems to the appropriate levels necessary.
Carry out system maintenance tasks on all ACS Servers as required
Develop server operating procedures
Handle 2nd and 3rd level support request as needed
Performs complex troubleshooting
Participate in development of disaster recovery plans
Provide specialized customer support in certain areas as appropriate
Participate in email or telephone and face to face discussion; respond to any requests from other staff; and facilitate good communications amongst ACS staff
Share skills with server administrators and provide guidance when needed
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Carry a mobile phone off hours on a rotation within the team; in order to monitor and take action where appropriate to ensure continued reliable accessibility of the ACS servers.
Attend team and any other meetings as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or combination of education and 7 years minimum of equivalent experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-manage.

MCSE certification
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services and enterprise management
Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2010
Experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2010/2012 SP1
Advance understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, SSH, TELNET
Experience with WMI and SNMP
Advance knowledge of malware and antivirus technologies
Experience with PKI Active Directory Services and online responder
Managing Windows 2003/2008/2012 mix mode enterprises
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
Windows 2003/2008/2012 Administration training
Solid Knowledge of SAN architecture and technology
Expert knowledge of enterprise backup software and strategies
Experience with disk configuration and use of RAID types
Strong knowledge of Internet computing technologies
An understanding of performance, backup, security issues, and registry settings
Experience with Microsoft clustering
Advance knowledge of VMware vSphere
Administration level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012
Administration level knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
Managed over 500 servers
VBScript and PowerShell experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-manage.
