Description: Position Summary:
Senior computer security and compliance professional with cloud, data center, and local IT support experience providing policy, systems engineering, and management expertise capable of enhancing and developing a cyber-security program using compliance to verify security and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, & availability of information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as ISSO, supporting security and compliance for GSA. Able to development and revise Security Authorization Packages including Security Plan, Disaster Recovery Plan, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for all system and design changes including expanding architecture documentation.
Must be capable to perform as compliance SME for addressing compliance policy requirements and client specific requirements in planning, engineering, and development meetings. Ensure that solutions are compliant with specific client statements of requirements, assess technical proposals for engineering feasibility (based on cost, time, and integration with current system and staffing capabilities).
Document status of various projects, issues for escalation, client notifications, develop system diagrams (high-level and connectivity), and ensure communication throughout security and compliance organization
Perform Risk Analysis as part of Configuration Management process for approval/denial recommendation
Review and advise on vulnerability scans and perform rescans to confirm remediation, and manage POA&Ms based on findings
Provide technical guidance in remediation efforts for policy and architectural/design findings including proposing solutions, researching other proposals, developing consensus and compromise, and prioritizing issues based on GSA priorities, resource requirements, and overall security.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
-Requires BS degree and years of prior relevant experience or Masters with years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
