The ServiceNow Solution Architect is focused on strategy, client service, business objectives, and value-based outcomes. This position will provide a more business-focused approach for IT in the form of a comprehensive IT business management (ITBM) strategy and will help IT elevate its role within the organization to help drive overall corporate success. Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing ServiceNow best practice advisory to functional and technical streams throughout the solution implementation and ongoing sustainment.
  • Participate in ServiceNow strategy and development in the delivery of customer focused solution development and roadmap efforts
  • Maintain relationships and oversight with strategic development partners to ensure high quality delivery of all aspects of solution development.
  • Responsible for solution design and review of all business processes and system level changes as part of continual service improvement.
  • Provide design perspectives to process owners and teams to ensure consistency, stability and supportability of the solutions and processes.
  • Stay current on the ServiceNow solution capabilities and product roadmap and maintain the organizational roadmap for future implementations and strategies
  • Responsible for the ServiceNow solution design
  • Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
  • Work with IT and Business Partners to define governance and processes as part of operational transition
  • Support integration with multiple LDAP, SSO, SCCM, SCOM, SMS Integration and other Infrastructure tools
Required Qualifications:
  • Expert understanding of ServiceNow architecture, applications and modules
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
  • Strong technical project management and/or leadership/mentoring skills
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Certified ITIL V3 practitioner
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Expertise across all of the ServiceNow platform capabilties
  • Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, PPM, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB and Knowledge
  • Experience with integration with multiple LDAP, SSO, SCCM, SCOM, SMS Integration and other Infrastructure tools
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Watch, Orchestration, Performance Analytics Familiar with ServiceNow Scripting and security best practices
  • Excellent Practical Knowledge of web-based development languages; such as JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow APIs and Web Interfaces
