We are looking for qualified individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, continuous improvement values, and a strong work ethic to join our team.If your goals and values align with Honda's, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future!About this Position: This role manages a regional caseload of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission charges and similar state administrative charges, state and federal employment law cases, and provides high quality, proactive legal services and advice on a timely and cost-effective basis for complex matters for a variety of Honda companies across the region to help minimize legal risks.

Responsibilities include:Litigation/Legal Matters: Prepare and coordinate cases for applicable Honda entity, develop legal strategy and provide the business with regular updates and advice, and manage outside counsel and expert fees, to reach the best long-term solution for Honda in complex cases.Legal advice and services: Provide high quality legal services and advice in a timely and cost-effective manner, and execute legal activities, to enable the applicable Honda divisions to meet legal obligations and reduce risk for complex and serious legal matters. Follow changes in all relevant federal and state laws and regulations, and exchange and share legal knowledge within the applicable Honda entity/division/department, as well as train Honda associates in legal best practices, to improve the awareness, quality, and effectiveness of the legal function.

Projects: Participate in the planning and execution of assigned AHM Law projects with a regional focus.Who we are seeking: Required Work Experience:10 years of experience as an attorney (which includes same number of years of litigation experience, if handling litigation)Must have good knowledge of the law area they support Required Education:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolAdmittance to the California BarDesired skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills, problem solving, customer satisfaction, building relationship, coaching, decision-making, risk analysis, flexibility/adaptability, patience, listening, risk taking, focusing on achieving results and supporting others achieve results, legal technical knowledge, Honda business knowledgeAdditional Position Factors:Workstyle: HybridTravel: 5%At Honda, you will play a key role in our journey to become a company that society wants to exist now, and in the future.
