Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital

Opportunity to join the Physiatry Division of the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation at UMass Memorial Health, the teaching hospital affiliated with UMass Chan Medical School.

Selected candidate will be recommended for appointment to the Medical School faculty.

Clinical practice will focus on provider inpatient services at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital, an acute rehabilitation hospital. Patient care provided to stroke, acute traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.

Requirements:

  • Selected candidate must possess current, valid license to practice medicine in Massachusetts
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital is a 110-bed, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.

Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital is a partnership of two outstanding healthcare organizations UMass Memorial Health Care, the area's predominant teaching hospital, and HealthSouth Corporation, one of the nation's largest providers of inpatient physical rehabilitation services. Through this unique collaboration, our patients and their families receive the expert rehabilitative care they need to resume productive, fulfilling lives.

UMass Memorial Health Care is the largest health care system in central and western Massachusetts, and the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Many of Fairlawns physicians are members of the UMass Memorial Health Care medical staff.
