Ophthalmologist, Cataract and Glaucoma specialist needed ( Augusta,GA)

Privately owned premier Eye Center in the CSRA with no plans to join private equity seeking an Ophthalmologist MD or DO with an ACGME accredited residency and fellowship already completed, or glaucoma fellowship culminating in 2023. Must be American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) board certified or board eligible planning to obtain certification upon finishing training. Experienced and new candidates encouraged to apply.

You will be taking over for a busy glaucoma surgeon who's retiring and work exclusively in main office in Augusta GA.

Enjoy a four-day week with 3 clinic days and 1 dedicated OR day. Large optometric referral base in community and significant optometric support within the practice. No hospital call. Practice call shared equally among surgeons with weekend optometric support first-call. Highly trained technical staff perform extensive patient work-ups and scribe/assist in documenting and coding in EMR.

Qualifications for Ophthalmologist:

BC/BE Glaucoma Fellowship-Trained Ophthalmologist

Excellent clinical and surgical skills

Interest in high volume surgical practice to include cataract and refractive surgery

Georgia and South Carolina Medical License eligible
