CNC Operator

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a company in St. Joseph. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, ensuring the production of high-quality parts while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Position Details:

• Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Location: St. Joseph, MN

Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts
• Deburring parts to ensure smooth surfaces
• Adhering to strict quality standards and shop regulations
• Assisting with machine setup as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a machine shop
• Consistent employment for one year within the last two years.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers
• Ability to interpret shop drawings and work with minimal supervision
• Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• High school diploma or technical college graduate
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Steel-toed boots required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operation experience (training provided if necessary)
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Experience with CNC machine setup
