Duties: Identify issues that negatively impact customers/customer experience. Responsible for the periodic maintenance, security and availability of several applications based on business requirements and adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural models. Coordinate with respective global teams for smooth turnover of ongoing day-to-day activities of the release team, assign tasks, guide technical challenges, resolve technical conflicts within the team and other IT teams and manage the workload. Create, develop and maintain knowledge base articles for technical procedures with end-to-end flows through Confluence/SharePoint. Improve the stability and performance of the application portfolio. Monitor applications and perform regular health check of environment with Splunk, Wily, WebView/Planum, Tivoli, EMP portal monitoring tools. Build auto-monitoring and auto-refresh dashboards to provide Real Time data metrics that come to Middleware layer from Chase.com, Chase Mobile apps, ATM, Branches, Vendors, Call centers. Address tickets on Priority basis in HP service manager and Service Now. Communicate complex functional and technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial and external clients/vendors by following best practices to identify and resolve. Priority/Severity 1 production issues that impact Middleware applications space as well as perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to provide long term solutions. Install/configure/renew SSL certificates and troubleshoot SSL issues. Provide batch support using Control-M, Autosys, Crontab in UNIX, Linux environments. Support Production Lifecycle Management (PLM), Maintenance activities. Work as a liaison with internal monitoring teams to make sure appropriate alerting is in place and generate notifications before software failure which will minimize customer impact. Work closely with the Unix/Windows Admin, Database Admins, Network Engineers and troubleshoot production issues.

Minimum education required: Master's degree or equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum experience required: 3 years of experience in Middleware Engineering, Middleware Production Support, or Systems Engineering, or related experience.

Skills required:Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, and IIS. Experience with OS Platforms: AIX, Linux, Windows; Database: DB2, SQL, Oracle, and Teradata. Experience with WebSphere Message Broker. Experience with Unix Shell, PERL, BASH Scripting, and Python. Experience with Unit test runner and Tortoise SVN. Experience with IBM Webview MQ and F5/Cisco Load balancer. Experience with SSL administration and CA Site Minder SSO. Experience with Network protocols including TCP/IP,DNS; DHCP; SSH; SFTP; and Java/J2EE concepts. Experience with ITSM Change Management processes and HP Service manager. Experience with Scheduling job tools Control-M, Autosys, and Crontab. Experience with Monitoring tools Tivoli, CA Wily Introscope, and Splunk.
