Legal Talent Coordinator (Full Time)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio Country: United States of America
 

We are seeking an experienced Legal Talent Coordinator to join Thompson Hine's Downtown Cleveland office. As an integral member of the Talent Management team, this individual will be responsible for working closely with managers of legal talent to perform day-to-day recruiting functions for all Firm offices.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following;

  • Coordinate lawyer interviews, travel arrangements, and meetings as needed.
  • Circulate schedules and meeting materials to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare offer packages.
  • Oversee background check processes for candidates.
  • Perform all data entry tasks for ViRecruit ATS and RedCarpet on-boarding system.
  • Code and process expenses/invoices/reimbursements as assigned.
  • Plan and organize all aspects of the Summer Associate Program, which begins in May and ends in July each year.
  • Sample duties include;
    • Compiling orientation and speaker schedules
    • Coordinating travel and logistics
    • Drafting the training manual
    • Planning, organizing, and attending all social events- including some evenings.
  • Plan and organize all aspects of the On-Campus Interviewing Program, which begins in late July and concludes in mid-September each year.
  • Sample duties include;
    • Coordinating registrations with law schools and travel arrangements for interviewers.
    • Update training manuals and presentations for annual training sessions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a law firm or professional services firm setting. Superb interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to work more than the standard 40 hours/week are essential functions of this position. Must have impeccable attention to detail, a desire to be proactive, the ability to anticipate tasks, meet strict deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure. Strong computer skills (especially advanced Excel functions) and database/data entry experience required.
