Capital Markets Pricing Manager - mortgage experience needed (Full Time)

Location: Plano Texas Country: United States of America

Excellent opportunity at a growing financial services company to help grow a department. This role will be responsible for the Lock Desk and as well as supporting the non-QM products. This is an immediate need for someone with strong mortgage experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a Lock desk, have strong experience working in capital markets and have very strong computer skills including VBA and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily processes, which may include oversight of internal and external models, maintenance/creation of product codes, development/implementation of process workflows and risk controls, etc.
Oversee the creation, implementation, and maintenance of non-QM rate sheet models for assigned channel(s)
Optimize volume and margin by answering non-QM calls related to pricing, guidelines, and lock issues
Manage staff by communicating and directing job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures
Recruit, select, orientate, and train employees; evaluate and address staff productivity and performance; and develop personal growth opportunities for team members
Delegate workflows and oversee tasks to ensure all deadlines are met and high customer service levels are maintained
Liaise with Operations, Sales, IT, and vendors to facilitate set-up and origination processes
Work with business units and senior sales leaders to ensure changes to eligibility, products, or investors are communicated both internally and externally
Develop policies and procedures for assigned area(s) and update as needed
Provide updates to management regarding team achievements, staffing changes/concerns, and future projects or process changes
Support Secondary Marketing with ad hoc reporting, models, and analytics as needed
Maintain knowledge of mortgage industry trends and best practices within assigned area(s) to ensure 's standards and processes are appropriate and aligned with the market

Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience in Secondary Marketing, including comprehensive product and pricing experience
Expert-level knowledge of pricing, products, and eligibility for various investors
Knowledge of all aspects of Secondary Marketing and general understanding of all aspects of mortgage banking
Understanding of best execution, pool optimization, and whole loan best effort and mandatory transactions
