Advertising & Marketing Manager (Full Time)

We are currently seeking an Advertising & Marketing Manager who will play a key role in furthering the mission of The Cleveland Orchestra in building new audiences and retaining existing patrons, meeting sales goals, and creating the best opportunities for guests to learn about and attend concerts at Severance Hall, Blossom Music Center and its Miami Residency. This position is responsible for the strategic development and successful execution of the marketing advertising campaign, producing compelling creative to support these campaigns, analysing results, and managing production calendars and timelines.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required, along with 3-5 years' experience in sales and marketing
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Professional judgment and discretion
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Strong collaboration and team skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, self-motivated, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to think strategically and offer solutions
  • Passion for classical music required, familiarity with classical repertoire preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications, (Microsoft Office suite, Google Analytics) as well as setting up AdWords & Facebook accounts. Familiarity with CRM (Tessitura) and email marketing systems (Wordfly) a plus, but not required.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays
