Amgen Inc.; Senior Computational Scientist, Molecular Modeling; Thousand Oaks, CA: Apply diverse molecular modelling, and design methods towards the advancement of discovery projects, spanning multiple modalities, including small molecule, protein, antibody, siRNA and various conjugate molecules. Working with protein structural modelling, ligand design, and protein engineering; Integrating antibody engineering with pre-existing molecular biology function; Enabling protein and antibody structure molecular engineering, including predictive mutagenesis, molecular dynamics, free-energy perturbation and energetic analysis by utilizing BioLuminate, Desmond, FEP+, Glide from Schroedinger, Rosetta, and Molecular Operating Environment (MOE); Improving affinity and stability of candidate therapeutic molecules relying on next-generation sequencing and analysis with AbGenesis in combination with structure-based predictive mutagenesis and in vitro-based combinatorial mutagenesis; and Acquiring, analysing, and structuring scientific dataset for homology modelling, molecular design and predictive mutagenesis via Linux-based command-window Scripting.
