Rolling Stock Engineer - Rail - Transportation

Our prestigious client has various and exciting opportunities for talented and enthusiastic professionals to join them on an exciting long term roadmap of Rail Transportation projects.

We are looking for the following:

  1. Project Manager/Engineers with Rolling Stock Experience to support the execution of several live projects within the System Engineering function

Core Disciplines required Project Manager/Project Engineer

  1. Knowledge of Legacy and modern railway signalling systems and rolling stock
  2. CBTC, ATP, ATC, Wayside, Radio
  3. Understand of system engineering principles
  4. Desirable to hold a recognised project management accreditation
  5. Ability to produce project plans/schedule
  6. Ensure project contractual requirements are understood and complied with
  7. Organise, host and chair client and supplier meetings
  8. Produce accurate minutes of meetings and issue in a timely manner
  9. Support technical teams with escalations or project requirements
  10. Knowledge of Legacy and modern railway signalling systems and rolling stock
  11. CBTC, ATP, ATC, Wayside, Radio, Control Systems, Interlocking
  12. Understand of system engineering principles - eg RAMS
  13. Experience with Integration of new systems to Legacy systems
  14. Interface system engineering.
  15. Ability to host meetings or technical workshops with suppliers and client
  16. Ability to contribute to project planning and schedule/timeline production
  17. Ability to produce detailed technical documents when required
  18. Ability to constructively review supplier technical documents for compliance

Education/Other

  1. Degree qualified; preferably in an Engineering domain
  2. Willing to relocate to LA
