Full Stack Java Developer (Full Time)

Location: Irving Texas Country: United States of America Rate: $95 - 100k (depends on experience)
 

Prestigious Fortune 500 is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to design, test and develop solutions to meet the strategic needs of UCV programs. You will also be the subject matter expert and provide support to the Production Support team on production issues related to application's Java components.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • 3+ years core Java development experience
  • solid experience using Spring framework, Spring Boot, J2EE, REST service deployment in a development environment
  • proficiency deploying Java applications to application Servers
  • previous experience of WAS (WebSphere Application Server) including deployment, WAS administration console and WAS flow and knowledge of clusters
  • previous experience working with Oracle, Non-SQL databases, Tibco BE and Agile methodology
  • strong verbal and written facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge and experience to complete all job responsibilities (listed below)

Responsibilities:

  • design, test and develop solutions to meet the strategic needs of the UCV program
  • provide support and subject matter expertise to the production support team on production issues related to the application's Java components
  • develop a deep understanding of the core Java components used in the UCV platform and how these interface with other technologies and other aspects of the platform
  • contribute to process improvement by producing ideas for system improvements including associated cost benefits
  • complete transitions of newly delivered functionality with production support including relevant documentation
