Global Head of Sales - Africa (Permanent)

Location: Kenya
 

Global Head of Sales & Sales Operations - Africa/Emerging Markets

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast growing international tech company based anywhere in Africa with travel to regional offices. They are currently in the market to appoint a Global Head of Commercial to spearhead and grow their business. They are looking for a proven leader to develop the company's go-to-market strategy and implement and define the processes and structures. The role will require you to build and scale regional sales team across different areas of the business.

Responsibilities

Define and execute global sales strategy

Build and manage the sales teams within each region

Develop and implement processes, structures and sales methodologies

Implement and enforce systems to optimise processes and resources

Launch tech-solutions with sales teams and partners

Requirements

MUST have previous experience of scaling and growing Sales teams

MUST have built and designed processes, structures and Sales methodologies

5+ years' experience in high-growth or technology environments

Demonstrable commercial experience of scaling Sales force from circa 5 to >50 heads

Clear experience of growth phases within high growth periods for relevant organisations

Enterprise Sales experience

B2B sales experience

Experience developing, implementing and achieving KPIs

Ability to design and operationalise systems

Experience managing different cultures across different regions
