How would you like to work for a global leader in digital transformation with approximately 120000 employees in 73 countries and annual revenue of around €13 billion?

The Technical Design Authority will be retained by the CTO function and will have a designated PoC to support the Lead Architect Role in ensuring technical governance and assurance is adhered to. It will be the Lead Architect function to ensure that the EUC Transformation Programme and associated projects comply with this governance and design principles whilst supporting the development of the Technical Roadmap for future delivery of Transformation Scenarios.

Specific Activities and Deliverables:

  • The Lead Architect is to provide leadership and to be the Technical focal point for the Transformation activities, with the role required to lead and co-ordinate the technical requirements, solutions, dependencies and support the phasing of technical delivery by coordinating Transformation Scenario TA's and SME's to ensure pre-req's and dependencies are mapped efficiently to instil confidence with the team for long term delivery of the Programme as a whole. They will also act as the single point of contact and conduit with the Account Architecture and CTO function to ensure wider assurance and governance preventing the risk of various parties being played against each other and ensuring wider account strategies are also considered.
  • Provide Transformation Portfolio Technical assurance and governance in support of the wider Account CTO function
  • Support the wider Account CTO function by maintaining a "view" across the wider account to ensure alignment to the account strategies and support the management of technical risk and impact of proposed programmes and projects outside of Transformation
  • Documenting, and support the project TA/SME teams in the documenting of, the required Transformation architecture
  • Work with suppliers, internally and externally, to create designs in delivery of the Transformation and components of Transformation

  • Artefacts such as HLD's, LLD's, Technical governance reviews, Roadmaps produced to the Account standards and successfully submitted through the Governance and Assurance review cycle


  • Provide the specialist skills and leadership within the Account Transformation Portfolio across the technologies.
  • Act as a focal point and lead discussions internally and with the end client on the "right" technical approach to achieving successful delivery of the requirements
  • Technical support to the wider account to ensure dependent activities are provided timely and appropriately so as not to impinge Transformation progress
