An opportunity for an Business Improvement Consultant with a Six Sigma Green Belt, to join a listed company going through an exciting transformation programme.

Description

Accountable for:

  • Successful delivery of Improvement initiatives to achieve the agreed business outcome
  • Motivate cross-functional teams to work together to improve the end to end process and break down siloed ways of working
  • Engaging effectively with all the VE divisions (including ELT)

Day to Day Duties:

  • Drive delivery of functional Business Improvement initiatives with significant benefit (commercial, productivity and client impact) through coaching Business Champions and applying the appropriate tools (Lean 6 Sigma, Project rigour)
  • Coach Business Champions in delivery of initiatives through supporting:
  • Facilitation of workshops to uncover problems, root cause analysis and opportunities to improve the existing processes
  • Documenting As-Is/To-Be processes to provide insight in existing ways of working
  • Gather and analyse data to establish baseline performance and provide valuable insight in where the opportunities are to improve based on facts
  • Set up sustainable ways of measuring the performance of processes to enable continuous improvement through establishing functional KPIs
  • Provide insight, support and recommendations to help the organisation focus on the right Business Improvement priorities
  • Provide (on-the-job) training on improvement methodologies and KPIs
  • Deliver functional training on methodology, tools and techniques to help facilitate further improvement opportunities
  • Participate in coordination of and delivery of Champion Community meetings and events
  • Act as lead for Operations Management activity within the Operational Excellence team

Profile

  • A track record of leading the successful delivery of complex Business Improvement projects
  • A working knowledge of recognised Improvement frameworks and methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proven senior stakeholder management expertise
  • Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally

Job Offer

Up to £80,000 + Excellent Package
