Senior Technical Programme Manager

Rate: £625 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Paddington | Hybrid (2/3 days onsite)

Duration: 3-month rolling contract

A leading high-street retailer is currently looking for an experienced Senior Technical Programme Manager to support the delivery of complex, technology-led initiatives across its digital and retail platforms.

This role requires a hands-on delivery lead with strong retail experience, capable of working closely with Engineering and Product teams to manage delivery, dependencies, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programmes within a retail environment
  • Work closely with software engineering and product teams to plan and execute delivery
  • Manage delivery plans, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Provide clear visibility of progress to senior stakeholders
  • Support Agile ways of working across multiple teams
  • Drive delivery cadence, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Act as a point of escalation for delivery and technical issues

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager
  • Strong background delivering projects within the Retail sector
  • Experience in Software Development or Technical Product/Programme Management
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines

Contract Details

  • Rate: £625 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Duration: 3 months (rolling)
  • Location: Paddington - Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite)
