B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Permanent)

Location: United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: £70k - £80k
 

Our client has multiple openings for experienced B1 and B1/B2 licensed aircraft engineers to support line maintenance activities at stations across the UK.

These positions are based at East Midlands Airport, Birmingham Airport, Manchester Airport and Heathrow Airport

Responsibilities

  • Perform line maintenance inspections and troubleshooting on any of the following aircraft types: A320, A330, A350, B777, B787, B737, B757, B767
  • Rectify aircraft defects and faults to return aircraft back to service
  • Conduct maintenance tasks according to approved data and regulatory standards
  • Accurately document all work carried out in aircraft logs and records
  • Liaise with pilots, engineers and planners to coordinate maintenance schedules

Requirements

  • Hold a valid B1 or B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer's License issued by EASA/CAA
  • Previous line maintenance experience is essential
  • Demonstrate 6 months system/component recency in the last 2 years
  • Have current EWIS, Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety and SMS qualifications
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with appropriate visa status
