Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote Home Based - Market Rate - 3 months initially, very likely to roll on
A new requirement has arisen with an innovative technology provider to add value in the design and development of a new range of products.
My client are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of delivering designs for manufacture. Role will be working on injection mouldings, aluminium castings and metal pressings. Ideally you will have worked on shoe box size or smaller devices, such as Routers, doorbells, IoT devices.
Role will be working with the Principal Designer, creating technical drawings, stepfiles, drafting. Maintaining manufacturing drawings and data. Resolving queries from the factory. With experience of a 3D software package, such as Solidworks, Fusion 360 or OnShape.
Liaising with electronic design engineers.
