We are seeking two Business Analysts for a 6-month contract with a utilities company. The role involves creating project workstreams and delivering content under a framework to enable business change. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in process efficiency, lean process mapping, and business change processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and manage project workstreams to support business change initiatives.
- Apply lean process mapping techniques to enhance process efficiency.
- Document business change processes and effectively communicate them to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, and Finance.
- Oversee the life cycle management of physical assets such as pipes, materials, cables, tubes, etc., ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation and build libraries to support business functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the utilities sector.
- Strong background in creating project workstreams and delivering content to enable business change.
- Experience in use of lean and agile business improvement techniques.
- Able to conduct detailed business process mapping/analysis and identify improvement opportunities, supported by data.
- Track record of performing structured analysis of data and presenting outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in documenting business change processes and communicating with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
