Document Controller (Contract)
Location: Somerset Country: UK Rate: £240 - £270 per day
Role: Document Controller
Location: Remote (1 day per month on client site in Somerset)
Contract: 6 months
Daily Rate: Up to £270 per day, depending on experience.
About The Role:
Our client is looking for a Document Controller to join their team.
You will provide document control for complex, multi-site projects to ensure the delivery of compliant and traceable project documentation.
You'll be the interface with the Main Works Contractor's document controller and systems to ensure that all contractual documents are correctly administered in compliance with the client's policies and procedures.
Ensuring that all documents are reviewed, approved, and that changes are identified and updated, you'll distribute documents to relevant parties, making sure that documentation is controlled and traceable to form part of an audit trail.
In addition, you'll administer the SharePoint site.
You:
- Computer literate and have experience in the use and application of standard MS Applications; in particular, SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Extensive experience in the use of Common Data Environments (CDE) and/or collaboration software is key as is experience of project delivery and using naming conventions and metadata in document control.
- Experience and Knowledge of project handover records and requirements would be an advantage as well as an awareness of: Construction contract environment, including contractual terms of conditions and processes.
- Proven planning and processing management skills and organisational skills
