Job Title: SAP Material Master Data Manager

Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (Outside IR-35)

Location: Yorkshire 2-3 days onsite

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP Material Master Data Manager to join our team on a 3-6 month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of master data management solutions within our SAP environment. The primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of material master data to optimize system capabilities and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the end-to-end process of material master data management within the SAP system.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data management solutions that meet business needs.
3. Lead the creation and maintenance of material master data, ensuring adherence to data governance policies and standards.
4. Conduct regular audits of material master data to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
5. Analyze audit findings and trends to proactively address root causes and implement corrective actions.
6. Develop and maintain documentation related to material master data management processes, procedures, and best practices.
7. Provide training and support to end-users on data entry standards and procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
8. Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and implement system enhancements or fixes as needed.
9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in master data management and SAP technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in SAP material master data management, including creation, maintenance, and governance.
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems and experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) module is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify data quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience conducting data audits and developing audit methodologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
