My client, a global Microsoft Gold Partner who are currently listed on the Fortune 500 and has offices in 20 countries with operations in 200 countries and territories are currently looking to recruit a vastly experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect who has a wide scope of technical knowledge across Modern Workspace technology.

As a pre-sales Solution architect you will be responsible for helping clients match business problems and requirements to technologies. Once the right technologies have been found you will be responsible for designing and costing the solution. The Consultant provides expert consultancy to Clients, owning transformation projects from initial Client assessment through to successful completion

You will:

- Develop strong business relationship with clients in order to understand their requirements, scope projects and map solutions with existing systems in order to deliver the best possible solution and high Client satisfaction.
- Develop strong business relationships with vendors in order to maintain up to date knowledge of emerging technology and technological developments and articulate this to Clients.
- Responsible for delivering the end-to-end offering, which will be a defined roadmap on how the chosen solution will help to: Reduce total cost of ownerships (TCO) of running today's and future IT solutions
- Increases agility of the organisation Maintaining the relevant level of security
- Responsible for project management of the solution, including development implementation, configuration, integration, testing and optimisation of bespoke client solutions.
- Responsible for providing proactive technical support to client, including ownership for resolving technical issues that may arise.
- Accountable for development of documentation for internal and external partners to ensure technology solutions are delivered to defined standards, to troubleshoot deployments or for onward development.
- Engage in the pre-sale cycle, providing Infrastructure consultancy, including audits and assessments in support of the sales teams in their proposals.
- All consultants are expected to have a passion for their role including a demonstrable desire to learn about developing technology and solutions in order to provide advice and drive cloud centric Client solutions.
- The consultant is regarded as an industry expert, demonstrated by speaking at conferences, vendor events and through publishing of white papers and thought leadership material.
- A flexible approach to working is required to ensure that projects are completed in scope and on time. The consultant will be required to work from multiple locations and at client sites.


Extensive experience performing billable consulting work or consultative sales within the target Practice area or equivalent experience with consulting services management
Experience working with Intune (SCCM) & Autopilot. Experience of the Office 365 Stack ie OneDrive, Teams & Skype for Business would be beneficial
Experience working with Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Storage Technologies.
Experience in designing Azure access methods including PowerShell, REST, JSON, and the web portal
Experience of working with a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2 or PMI
