Senior Product Manager (Enterprise Software) (Permanent)

Location: Berkshire Country: UK Rate: c£75K-£85K negotiable + bonus and benefits
 

Senior Product Manager (Enterprise Software) - Berkshire - c£Excellent plus bonus and benefits

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager with a start-up mentality and a passion for delivering a superior customer experience

You will have a hands-on leadership role working closely with the customers and with field organisation - services, support, sales and marketing - to deliver a top-notch product.

You will drive innovation, own the product roadmap, perform release planning in conjunction with the development team, groom the backlog and make decisions around when to release and what to include in each release.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead product strategy in collaboration with senior management, engineering, sales, services, and support
  • Synthesise information from multiple sources (eg research, usability, customer feedback, partner data, competitive assessment, market trends) and develop, define and prioritise requirements for product development
  • Developing product themes, epochs, user stories and user/buyer personas
  • Manage product roadmap and translate high level strategies into manageable stories and product backlog.
  • Act as the voice of the user to the development team and ensure that teams have a clear understanding of what they are developing and the value it delivers.
  • Support the development teams during each release cycle to clarify requirements, make priority calls, review test plans and determine a release schedule.
  • Implement Product Management best practices and discipline to deliver high quality outcomes and internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Educate and enable the customer facing organisations to ensure successful go-to-market
  • Support sales and services in customer engagements

Essential Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in software product management including at least 4 years experience as an Agile Product Manager, Technical Product Manager or Product Manager.
  • Experience in Enterprise Software that is used daily by 1000s of end user
  • Experience in B2B, Analytics and/or Cloud.
  • Demonstrable subject matter expertise in at least one of the following: Incentives Compensation Management, Financial management, Sales force automation, or analytics/business intelligence.

  • Strong networking, coordination, communication and presentation skills and superior team player, can-do and innovation-focused attitude.
  • Strong written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills and able to confidently and clearly communicate to both internal and external audiences
  • Masterful ability to prioritise long (and growing) lists of demands
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex global environment
  • Ability to travel up to 15% both domestic and international
