Junior Cyber Analyst | 6 Month Contract | Immediate Start | Surrey

My Client urgently requires a junior cyber analyst on an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension onsite in Surrey.

Within your new role you will be working 12 hour shifts as part of a rota for 24x7 CSOC Support, 4 days on day shift, 4 days off and 4 nights on night shift.

SC Clearance Required

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 + Years working in a CSOC (Cyber Security Operations Centre)
• Respond to and correlate alerts from various detective and preventative Cyber Security tools such as Security Information Event Monitoring (SIEM), End Point Protection (EPP), End Point Detection and Response (EDR), Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Firewalls.
• Define and coordinate the application of countermeasures to mitigate Threats which can be used in action plans to respond to Cyber Security Incidents
• Exposure to working with NCSC, NIST, and Centre for Internet Security (CIS) best practice.
• Network Security - Firewalls (CISCO/Fortinet/Palo Alto)
• Splunk/LogRhythm
• SC Clearance

• Duration: 6 months
• Day Rate: £250-£300 Outside IR35
• Location: Surrey
