Cloud Sales Consultant (Microsoft) - Buckinghamshire - c£Negotiable plus bonus and benefits

Your role will involve following up potential leads and qualifying opportunities with a focus on maximising every aspect of the client's needs using all aspects of communication, including calling, face-to-face meetings, proposals and follow up calls to close deals and reach your targets.

You will need to show a strong understanding of how MS Cloud products can be used to resolve client problems, in conjunction with a natural ability to sell and close deals. A thorough understanding of selling business solutions and not just technology is essential to present at director level and clearly understand client's requirements.

You will have experience in selling business solutions and a robust high-level understanding of the Microsoft technology stack. You should be able to clearly demonstrate a track record of managing all aspects of the sales life cycle from lead identification through to sales closure. You must be comfortable maintaining a accurate pipeline in CRM.

The role will require you to travel to customer sites as deemed necessary by you to support customers in their journey through the sales cycle. You will maintain relationships with customers post-sale as Account Lead and be responsible for nurturing further work and support.

Our client also maintains positive partnerships with a number of related organisations including Microsoft and LSPs, you will be responsible for maintaining strategic relations with at least one partner organisation.

The successful candidate with have the following skills and experience:

  • Be a self-starter and be motivated by success;
  • Ability to work with, and to understand, client problem statements;
  • The ability to write - formal procurement responses and constructive communications with customers;
  • You will have a good knowledge of Office 365 and the wider MS Cloud Portfolio, and will be able to articulate propositions, business value and solution functionality;
  • Ability to collaborate and involve appropriate resources to ensure win and success of projects.
  • Demonstrate solid judgment and approach to complex problem solving by utilising strong collaboration skills with virtual teams and cross-functional groups.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with partners, Microsoft and executive level contacts, inside and outside of IT
  • Ability to present sales campaign results and strategy at senior management level, whilst considering the variety of knowledge levels within the audience
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date and accurate sales progress/pipeline for weekly reviews.
