Responsibilities
- Experience 7-15 Years in Middleware Technologies
- Expertise in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting one or more of the Application Servers JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Wildfly on Windows, and Unix Platforms along with certification is preferred.
- Expertise in Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting the Web Servers such as IIS, Apache on Windows, and Unix Platforms SSL implementation on Web server and Application Server level
- Linux and Shell or other Unix Scripting languages or Python Script is preferred.
- Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications.
- Hands-on experience in Java/JEE technologies Should have knowledge of installation/upgrade/apply fixpacks of Jboss, Integration with Webservers.
- Knowledge in Messaging technologies like WebSphere MQ/JMS/ActiveMQ on Windows/UNIX environments.
- Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the JEE space and an ability to evaluate, select and propose tools and technologies to meet the requirements on Cloud Environment.
- Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.
- Experience working CI, CD and DevOps practices.
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and architectures.
- Should have collaborated with internal and external technical resources to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
- Experience in either of these areas is a definite add-on - Infrastructure sizing, Capacity. planning, Performance modelling, Cloud Computing.
- Experience in interfacing with the customers.
- Experience in Architecture consulting engagements is a definite plus.
- Ability to mentor operations teams and guide them in resolving complex technical. issues encountered in projects.
- Own communication for Incidents (SLA breaches, Application Major Incidents, Logistics issue) and responsible for communications with management
- Coordinate recurring issues and ensure long-term resolution through proper Incident and Problem Management
- Working with various teams like Infrastructure, development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages.
- ITIL Certification is preferred.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
