Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Opava Country: Czech Republic Rate: 380k CZK per annum

Maintenance Engineer - Opava - Czech Republic - 380,000 CZK per annum

We are delighted to present this new vacancy with a global facilities management service provider. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer/Technician, to join a facilities management account within the life sciences sector. The Maintenance Engineer/Technician will report into the Site Facilities Manager and in conjunction with the site FM Engineering team, will manage the maintenance of the site.

Planned Preventative Maintenance
Reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair
Finance/Cost Control/Profitability
Health & Safety

What we are looking for:

Ideal Experience:

Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical, life sciences or manufacturing sector
Experience within a highly regulated facilities management environment
Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands
Knowledge of SSOW
Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems
Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives (highly desirable)
Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
Knowledge of critical facilities and an understanding of basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system)
Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
Budget management and financial analysis skills
Strong Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance experience coupled with a recognised professional qualification
Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required
Sound understanding and experience of Health & Safety obligations in relation to maintenance activities
Must be prepared to work out of hours when required
Participate in a call out rota
