Position Summary

Supporting Husky's Corporate Services, the Real Estate Analyst will handle Real Estate administration and document management. Working closely with the Senior Real Estate Advisor, the Analyst will support the Real Estate Department in leasing matters, acquisitions and dispositions, licences to farm, and other matters relating to the ownership of Husky's real property. This role will provide the opportunity to represent Husky and to build strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and the successful applicant will be exposed to a broad range of real estate activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely/critical payment of rents to Landlords and receipt of rent from Commercial Tenants & Subtenants, and Residential Tenants
  • Liaise with Landlords, Commercial Tenants & Subtenants, Residential Tenants and Business Units on any day to day matters pertaining to real estate matters
  • Assist the Senior Real Estate Analyst, Real Estate Specialists and Director, Real Estate with leasing matters including but not limited to renewals and terminations, acquisitions and dispositions, licences to farm, and other matters relating to the ownership of Husky's real property
  • Administer invoicing, purchase order tracking, as well as real estate location and critical terms reporting
  • Administer and track residential housing agreements
  • Provide systematic management of Corporate Real Estate Documents and Files
  • Keep current with Husky processes such as HDMS, SAP, AP & AR to enable effective and efficient administrative duties.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related industries with a strong administrative accounting background
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures; experience with AP and AR
  • Previous experience working in a commercial, retail or residential real estate environment, or previous experience with leasing administration, asset management, property management or documentation management
  • Real Estate License, previous experience in conveyancing of real property, or previous paralegal and legal document preparation experience would be considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in the use of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and HDMS
  • Organized and task oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must possess a great deal of individual initiative and enthusiasm and be a quick learner
  • Must have valid driver's licence.
