Ballarat Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse Division 1/Registered Midwife to join our team within the Special Care Nursery for a fixed term maternity leave position.

The Special Care Nursery at BHS is a 10 cot Level 4 unit that is co-located on the 5th floor with the in-patient maternity unit and birthing suites.

As the successful applicant it is desirable that you will have extensive neonatal clinical experience, appropriate qualifications, and strive for family centred care, and must be able to work a rotating roster across all shifts.

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our clients and their families within the SCN and the whole of Women's and Children's Services.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory immunization clearance, working with children check and a satisfactory current police record.
