The Opportunity

You will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of small motor equipment.

you'll ideally have good knowledge of the outdoor power equipment world (lawn mowers, line trimmers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, blowers etc.), and will work on some of the world s most iconic brands in the industry, including Honda, Stihl, Bushranger, Masport, Hustler, Cub Cadet and Rover, with more on the radar.

If you have a background in motorcycles or marine engines and are keen to make the transition, you may also be considered for this role.

Working alongside a team of passionate people, you'll tackle a variety of tasks, ensuring that each job is completed to the highest standard.

As a versatile, hands-on team player, your role will involve:

- Servicing and repairing small motor equipment

- Handling customer enquiries and providing exceptional customer service

- Sales assistance and spare parts interpretation

- Working independently and as part of a team to achieve solutions

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting various mechanical issues

- Administrative and computer tasks, (Sprockit experience would be an advantage but is not essential)

About You

We're looking for a well-organised, self-motivated individual with a passion for mechanics and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

- Certificate III in Small Motor Mechanics/Outdoor Power Equipment, or solid experience with the willingness to become qualified

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers confidently

- Neat and tidy appearance and approach to work

- Proficiency with computers, with Sprockit software experience being a bonus

- Sales experience and respectful, customer-focused mindset

- The ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team

- A problem-solving attitude and versatility in handling various tasks

- A current valid diving license and preferably a forklift license (not essential)

- Welding/fabrication skills (preferred but not essential)
