SAP Master Data Analyst (Contract/Permanent)

Location: Derrimut, Melbourne Country: Australia
 

SAP Master Data Analyst

  • 3 month contract - possibility of covering to permanent
Core responsibilities:
  • Management of SAP master data. Creation, changes, and deletion. (Eg. Customer, Vendor, Materials, BOM, Routing etc.) and etc as per current process.
  • Perform mass updates.
  • Follow the outlined Business Process for Change Management with respect to data requests.
  • Conduct data cleaning activities for better management and quicker access.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems.
  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
  • Work closely with the business to ensure alignment of master data rules.
  • Aid in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts and data owners.
  • Perform other master data duties as required or directed.
The ideal person will have the following experience:
  • 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Previous SAP data experience
  • Can demonstrate experience in creating customer, vendor and material master data
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate a outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
Initially the successful candidate will work on site 5 days a week which will be reduced to 3 days onsite/2 days working from home when they're set up and understand the landscape.
