Required experience and skills:

Java

Integration Development: Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Integration/API Platform Server, including the creation of flow services, adapter services, and transformation services.

API Development: Design and create REST and SOAP APIs using Integration Platform API Gateway, including API security and management.

Version Control: Manage source code and configuration artifacts in version control systems, ensuring proper tracking and versioning. Extensive knowledge on GIT Flow

Optimization: Continuously optimize integration solutions, business processes, and APIs to improve performance and resource utilization.

CI/CD: Extensive knowledge in Jenkins to setup deployment pipelines using Jenkins.

Strong understanding with Agile development methodologies

Job purpose:

The Software Engineer is responsible implementation of digital transformation initiatives including the introduction of CI/CD processes, container-based architectures and API designs within his/her area.

This is a hands-on role so ultimately a Senior Software Engineer is comfortable with all aspects of modern, agile software development including designing, developing, documenting and testing complex software solutions. In addition, a Software Engineer helps in the development of functional/nonfunctional user stories to prepare the team backlog together with the Lead Software Engineer and the Product Owner.

Reponsibilities:

• Design, develop and test complex software solutions using Agile SDLC practices, stay up-to-date on latest technologies/trends and adopt DevOps practices such as CI/CD processes
• Assist the product owner/technical lead with user story development.
• Work with other developers to ensure software is of highest quality
• Adoption of container-based architectures. Architect, develop and maintain microservices-based applications, leverage modern design patterns and best practices
• Reengineer existing system and processes
• Participates in the hiring process for potential new developers and provide input on hiring decisions
• Working with vendors and offshore partners
• Assist the Unit Head to prepare annual plans, budgets and resources for the effective functioning of the unit
