SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Perform accounts receivable activities for major customers.
  • Active involvement in the Company's Total Quality Management process as evidenced by continuous improvement of processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing sales/gross profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Carries out policies and procedures as defined in the quality manual.
  • Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.

JOB DUTIES

  • Perform accounts receivable activities for major customers.
  • Partner with service centers, sales management and customers to facilitate the payment process.
  • Analyze account information and make recommendations for problem resolution or process improvement.
  • Assist with credit related decisions such as opening accounts.
  • Access and analyze Equifax reporting.
  • Enforces credit limits, payment terms, and COD decisions.
  • Approve and monitor payment plans under a certain dollar limit.
  • Assist with over for collection and bankruptcy correspondence with service center and field management.
  • Review past due accounts monthly for assigned area. Report severely delinquent accounts to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Work with assigned email correspondence to assist field associates with questions and request.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Equivalent to specialized study or training in office techniques such as accounting procedures filing, recordkeeping and data entry skills.
  • Must have more than 1 year experience
  • Experience with MS Office suite (Office, Excel, etc.)
