Job Description: Is responsible for the accurate preparation of non-sterile extemporaneous products, unit-dose preparations; inventory control; medication delivery, distribution, and storage; care of supplies and equipment; and management of automated medication dispensing systems. JOB SUMMARY Assists the pharmacists with support activities and processes related to medication distribution within the hospital. Receives medication and other supplies for storage. Stocks Automated Medication Dispensing Cabinets (AMDCs) or areas where medications are stored. Prepares, packages, and labels medications to be dispensed to patients.
