Job Description

Conduct Analysis of all Commercial Credit Transactions

·   Effectively identify, research, evaluate, and incorporate relevant issues into a clear and concise analytical commentary

·     Ensure an efficient and effective transfer of knowledge from the lending officer to commercial credit presentations

·     Assess the primary risks of the credit extension and the nature of the mitigating factors

·     Accurately and appropriately calculate cash flow coverage, leverage, and other relevant financial ratios for businesses and/or individuals; discuss deal-specific cash flow modifications and determine for reasonableness

·     Determine appropriateness of risk rating and recommend changes, as appropriate

·     Gather relationship account information and review loan requests for completeness and compliance with Credit Policy and Underwriting Guidelines

·     Identify Credit Policy exceptions and incorporate suitable mitigants

·     Participate in client calls with lending officers for the purpose of asking pertinent questions regarding the financial statements, business, and industry, as available

Spread and Analyze Business and Personal Financial Statements

·      Accurately and consistently spread financial statements for businesses and individuals

·      Formulate basic, relevant financial statement and industry questions

·      Demonstrate thorough knowledge of commercial lending and financial analysis

Exhibit Teamwork and Open Communications

·       Establishes and maintains effective relationships with team members

·       Proactively identifies and communicates areas of concern to appropriate team members

·       Manage team expectations, especially when additional time is needed for completion of request
